Hello my friends, just 4 days left for July! Crazy to know how quickly the year is going.
Our studio tables were busy this week,
Three amazing signboard for a wedding last weekend – a welcome sign, order of service and seating plan all on clear aryclic sheets (perspex) with white vinyl and beautiful greenery on the edges. An safari themed menu in the shape of our continent, coupled with personalised place cards in a rose gold (copper) hue. We are thrilled to also wish three of our bridal couples a fantastic and memorable day as they tie the knot today. We will be posting our competition on Monday (so watch this space) to stand a chance to win a Julytastic PRIZE!
Apart from trying to find pics starting with A & B for homework, the week was ordinary. How was your week? Did you do something fun and entertaining?
Have a lovely Saturday xx
Hello friends, Can you believe that July ends in another 2 weeks with the best day being the last day of the month (my birthday).
We have been very quiet on our social media pages as life and work took over.
We enjoyed a lovely school break, with 10 days in cold Cape Town to spend some quality time with my sister and ending the break with us all going to the Disney on Ice show. This was our 3rd show in three years, and as much as they are great to watch, it does become more like a rerun than something new. I do want to start taking our 4-year-old to more children play (as she enjoyed a stunning “Under the Sea” rendition two years ago).
Work has been busy (we are always thankful for this) and we are definitely seeing a trend for more July/August weddings. I think its a great idea but it would have to be a personal choice.
We will be sharing more work pics in the next couple of weeks and look out for a special birthday treat!
Have super weekend
The Pantone Colours for 2019 include the colour of the year “Living Coral” which you will see in everything this year…clothing, home decor and especially design.
We met Kallan after our first Wedding Expo show in Durban. She and her fiancé Lyndon had set the date for 07 January 2017 at one of the leading hotels in the KZN Midlands-FERN HILL HOTEL. Kallan envisioned gold elegance coupled with a rose theme. Their wedding invitation sleeve had an intricate rose themed laser cut design on a cream cardboard with shimmers of gold. The invitation was foiled in gold and closed with a paper bellyband also foiled in gold. A classic invitation which we will always love.
